LOST IN MOMENTS

-Last year, they had my kidney removed, the other one is barely functional, soon it will be damaged too. You see, we’re surrounded by dams, but we drink polluted water from the small rivers streaming down from these mountains.

-That was the last sentence I heard. The fog rises, a gate appears.

-You know my friend, at first, it was the warriors who fought against the colonization that settled down  here, they raised sheds and took refuge in the caves, these mountains are natural fortresses, they were all banned by the army later.

The local government the army and even the citizens hated these freedom worriers, they considered them trouble makers. Since then, these places are the shelter for the rejected. Do you want to settle down here?

– No

– My friend if you enter here, you either settle down or you will have to carry a burden… There is always something to pay.

When I was young I worked in construction yards all over the country, when my back started aching I visited the doctor, he told me I need a surgery, when I woke up from anesthesia I couldn’t feel my legs. Now my wife and my daughter work to put something on the table, they work thirteen hours daily in the fields.
